Congrats to the boys team for placing 1st overall at the Invitational!
This is a perfect example of when you take care of business in your individual events, collectively as a team, any can happen, such has getting 1st place!
There were 2 athletes that made their debut in the 100m dash. Myles Goodman – placed 2nd overall with the time of 11.30 and Tyree McKeaver-11.87. Jaeydan Carpenter ran a PR in the 200m -23.06. In the 400m dash, Myles Goodman placed 1st overall (50.35), Jaeydan Carpenter placed 2nd overall (50.87), and Alexander Rafferty placed 3rd overall (51.72), and Talmadge Tanks placed 5th overall (53.37). In 800m, Thomas Soriano was 1st overall, Nathan Pavelchik was 4th overall and ran a SR (season record) -2:03.48, and Josiah Grant was 8th overall (2:06.68). Alex Bobian (5:03.52) and Michael Rubio (5:03.91) made a debut in the 1600m. Also, the 4×400 relay placed 1st overall and the 4×800 relay placed 2nd overall.
In the field events, Cedric McKeaver PR’d in the discus – 108’10.5 and placed 8th overall. Bogar Diaz made his first debut in the pole vault – 10’06 and Logan Wolf PR’d 8’06. Also, Treydan Stukes (placed 1st in triple jump and 2nd in long jump) and Marcel Oliver placed 1st over in long jump.
