The Lady Tigers took home First place in a field of 20 schools at the Juan Reyes Invite this past Saturday. Top finishers were Kylie Grant who took 5th place overall with a season best 20:37, which put her in the top 5 times overall in Millennium history, and Britney Perera who took 15th. The girl took the team title in surprising fashion with 71 points over North Canyon 83. The girl also took home the JV team title at the meet.
On the men’s side, Junior Alex Rafferty won the Varsity race with a season best time of 16:16 to lead the tigers to 3rd place overall. Thomas Soriano and Alex Bibian also placed 8th and 20th respectively. Kasen Bolin took 1st the the boys freshmen race. The Tigers also won the JV boys race with a total score of 40 pts.
Overall the two teams came away from the meet with 22 personal best times and a bright outlook going into one of the most competitive races of the season and the top race in the south west, Nike Desert Twilight.
